What is PACT?
The Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program brings repairs to your apartment and building, new property management, and expanded social services. Buildings in the PACT program will continue to be owned by NYCHA, but they will be managed by a new PACT partner team. Through PACT, developments are converted to Project-Based Section 8, a federally funded program. This provides new funding to renovate buildings and apartments while keeping rents permanently affordable. More information is available on the NYCHA PACT website.
