Resident Meeting for Courtlandt Residents!

Please join us for a resident meeting about construction updates. Cornell Pace Inc. will be there to answer property management questions and Housing to Home will be there to hear any questions or concerns about temporary relocations. Spanish interpretation and light refreshments will be provided.
📍 Construction Update
Apartment renovations are in progress! Renovations are proceeding by apartment line in phases, and each phase may require its own entry into your apartment.
At Moore Houses, 40+ apartments are renovated or currently under renovation!
At Moore 1 (674 and 694 East 149th Street):
M Line: Ongoing
L Line: October into November 2026
K Line: November into December 2026
F Line: January 2027
Construction phasing and dates are approximate and may change. Housing to Home will contact each household directly before work begins in their apartment.
In-Unit Renovation (Phase 1)
This phase is expected to include kitchen and bathroom renovations, work in bedrooms and living rooms, and new electrical wiring. Crews will also remove lead or mold where needed. Your stove, radiators, and steam piping are expected to stay in place until Phase 3.
Window Replacement (Phase 2)
Installing new windows and blinds takes one day and may happen during a separate entry into your apartment. Crews need access to each window. Before installation day, please clear at least 5 feet of space in front of each window and take down curtains, rods, and blinds.
Electrical Conversion (Phase 3)
This final entry completes the electrical upgrade in your apartment and is expected to take one day. Crews will install new heating and cooling units, along with a new electric stove, range hood, and upper cabinet. They will also remove the kitchen gas pipe and the steam radiators and piping, then add outlets for the new electric appliances.

HTH is currently conducting one-on-one household assessments to understand your needs. You do not need to move or pack yet, and all packing and moving expenses are covered. You will receive a 30-day notice, 2-week notice, and a separate notice before returning to your original apartment.

Interested in Construction Jobs or Training?
The project aims to provide at least 25% of its labor hours to NYCHA residents and other qualifying Section 3 workers. To prepare residents for these jobs, the PACT team is working with Building Skills NY, a workforce development organization that offers job placement, training, career coaching, and connections to employers.

About Your New Property Management Team
Cornell Pace Inc. is the new managing agent of Moore Houses + East 152nd St. – Courtlandt Ave. Cornell Pace Inc. and is responsible for handling all aspects of building operations, including rent collection, maintenance requests, leasing, rental renewals, etc., with continued oversight from NYCHA.
We are committed to working closely with residents to enhance resident’s living experience. As part of the PACT conversion, all residents are now Project-Based Section 8 participants. This means that rent will not exceed 30% of annual gross income and Section 8 leases provide resident protections. To help streamline residential needs, we have dedicated staff to manage Moore Houses and Courtlandt-152nd Street developments and address any issues that may arise.
